Super Bowl Homeboy

Dr. Z, of SI fame, has picked the Purple to win the Super Bowl.

I’m so pumped up for this.  Of course I’m not actually pumped up about the Vikings taking the Super Bowl; Dr. Z’s prediction is only going to augment what I love to hate about the NFL — all the lunatics.

Minnesota is now going to head into the season thinking that it has a shot at winning the Super Bowl (let’s try winning 10 games first, yes?).  There will be more jean short-wearing, mustache-combing, Icehouse-drinking losers cheering on the Purple in September than over the past five years.

Excitement.

There’s a reason the N.F.L. stands for NASCAR Football League, and Dr. Z just gave us all more reason to believe in the NASCARFL.
